We are told the name of the film towards the end of the trailer which wouldn't be much of a suprise to the audience as this is the sixth movie of the original 'Saw' which is a well-known horror movie using twisted images and ways of torture to their victims
There is a lot of action in this trailer especially with the use of torturous machinery. It is very fast and daring creating a lot and urgency and anxiety for the victims to escape. There isn't so much music in this trailer; mostly screaming and the sound of the saws and torture devices.
I would expect to see this film trailer in a movie theatre for movies 18+ as it contains quite ghorry images and is definitely for a more mature audience. It is shown on breaks between TV programmes but a lot of the gruesome images are usually cut out.
At the beginning of the trailer, there isn't so much speed as the viewer realises the setting, that the torture is now taking place in public places. As the torture begins, the speed quickens, creating a thrill for the audience.
The trailer is definitely more effective in making me want to see the film. The sounds, flashing images and the use of 3d would excite me into experiencing saw 3d with a blast.
